As part of Adam Bulmer’s two year apprentice development program he recently attended the Outward Bound centre at Aberdovey and completed their 8 day Serious Bike Adventure course. By his own admission Adam was the least proficient mountain biker who attended and it is to his credit that he conquered to challenging North Wales terrain.
Following an initial day of team building exercises the course then proceeded to undertake progressively longer and more challenging rides, the latter of which were conducted unsupervised by the group to progressively build up participant’s personal resilience and team working skills. The course ended with a two day expedition with the group overnighting in a remote mountain cabin.
Adam has now entered his second and final year as an apprentice which will include forklift training and becoming an integral part of the Seaton Spring HACCP team.
